THE JUNGLE BOOK – Voiced by Idris Elba, Shere Khan bears the scars of man, which fuel his hatred of humans. Convinced that Mowgli poses a threat, the bengal tiger is determined to rid the jungle of the man-cub. “Shere Khan reigns with fear,” says Elba. “He terrorizes everyone he encounters because he comes from a place of fear.”

This Friday (April 15), the jungle is back with more exciting adventures and a new leading actor as the young Mowgli. In theaters and IMAX, The Jungle Book will tell the story of the young crusader who was raised by wolves and chosen to live a life of adventure. Mowgli―played by Neel Seth―must leave his beloved community and the only family he’s ever known in order to protect himself and his loved ones.

Joining him will be Idris Elba as the tiger leader Shere Khan, Lupita Nyong’o as Mowgli’s wolf mother, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa’ the snake, and many other superstar actors as additions to this diverse cast.
