January is still not over and it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t give you some tips to stay organized. 2018 is our year and Pynk is here to give you all the gems to make your life smoother!

Be mindful of deadline deadlines.
It’s always best to write down deadlines on a monthly calendar so we can see how much time we have to complete a task or a goal. By doing this, we have a clear vision of what to prioritize on our list of things to do. Another way to assist with deadlines is to utilize a reminder app on our phones that we can keep track of on a daily.

Plan out your day.
There is nothing like starting our day off on the right side of the bed. There is always work that needs to be done prior to making every day a successful one. The best practice would be to plan out our day the night before. Write down all the things that need to get done, lay out our business suit or gym clothes. Whatever we can do to help our morning routine run smoothly should be done the prior day! We’ll feel amazing by how much extra time we have been prepared.

Define and limit the time for each task.
One of our favorite steps to have a time limit. For the competitive women out there you’ll love this step because who doesn’t like a friendly competition with ourselves! We all love a little pressure for a specific time to handle everything and be motivated to beat the clock. In the end, we feel accomplished and inspired to do more.

Plan to be early, not just on time.

Being punctual is one of the best things we all should be disciplined to. Of course, things happen and we can’t get out of traffic in time enough but being on time can limit a lot of stress and anxiety for our Type A personalities out there. Being early will add to a peaceful experience wherever we go, we can all use a minutes or two to check our emails or confirm that play date for the kids this upcoming weekend!

Say “no” to distractions, including the distraction of friends.
Sometimes we need to put away our phones and get straight to business. It is OK to not go on our social media feed for a period of 2 to 3 hours. Sometimes we can get online and get excited about what’s trending and completely forget a call that we needed to be on. Social media can sometimes be a distraction from what we need to get done in our lives outside of social media.
