We may argue with our sisters about wearing our clothes or hanging out with our friends, but when does sibling rivalry go too far? Does it go too far when you sister steals from you or when she sleeps with your man? No two people may give the same answer but we know that there is a limit and no one should reach it.
“Basketball Wives” newbie, Cristen Metoyer has a major beef hatching with her sister, Aja Metoyer. A few weeks ago, Aja told another castmate on the show a few revealing secrets about her sister including a time when Cristen lied about saying she had a miscarriage when she actually had an abortion.

When speaking with Bossip.com, she stated that she regretted speaking on it. “She [Cristen] tried to say I was picking on her for being overweight and that’s when I was like, ‘She ain’t have no miscarriage!’ I feel like a horrible person but it just happened. It was just like a blooper.”
But yesterday, Aja posted a few messages to her followers that would surely ruffle her sister’s feathers.
We may never know how the friction began, although Aja mentioned in a confessional scene that their mother’s never got along, but there should be a certain amount of loyalty and respect for each other as sisters. One thing for certain, airing out dirty laundry on social media and international television will NOT make them any closer to a kumbaya.
What these young ladies need is to communicate their differences whether it is sitting one-on-one or with a therapist. They need to find where things went toxic and see how they can resolve the problem before it becomes a nuclear disaster.
Have you ever had to deal with sibling rivalry? How did you stop it from going too far?
