President Barack Obama turns 54-years-old today and not only are we celebrating his special day, but we are also celebrating his success as the 44th president of the United States. We are approaching the end of the final term of our first black president, and in order to celebrate his achievements and his contributions to our great nation, we’ve compiled 10 great moments that happened during his stint in the White House. Not only has he been an outstanding change maker in the presidential office, but he has also affected many lives outside of his professional career.
Barack Obama has accomplished the ultimate goal that was once out of reach and frankly impossible for African Americans to attain. Although he was under much scrutiny and criticism during his service, the Harvard Law alum has managed to stand by his beliefs and bring our nation to glory the best way he knew how. With so many issues in the world, it’s difficult to pinpoint which ones get tended to. President Obama always made it clear that education and health care were always his main priorities. Furthermore, during his two terms, he has succeeded in creating a program with more affordable health care options, and he has also shown tremendous efforts in creating affordable alternatives in higher education.
There is so much to say about our president, but in order to briefly sum up his valiant duties serving the U.S, we would like to thank him for all the hard work that he has effortlessly displayed these past eight years.
