Janet Jackson Nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Ms. Jackson joins other music legends such as Chaka Khan, NWA and Nine Inch Nails who have been nominated to be inducted into the class of 2016’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Ice Cube, who is honored by his nomination shared, “I am humbled by the nomination and recognition of NWA’s contribution to music and culture by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It has been an incredible year for us as a group, for our loyal fans, and in helping us to all keep Eazy-E’s memory alive.”

Janet Jackson recently released her new album, Unbreakable, and launched a tour along with it. This is the first time she’s been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and honestly we’re all surprised she hasn’t been nominated sooner.

The 2016 Hall of Fame will be announced in December and nominees will be inducted in April of 2016 at a ceremony in New York City.

Let us all keep our fingers crossed that Janet Jackson becomes an inductee because she truly deserves it with all she has accomplished and contributed to music.
