Last week all eyes were on a woman named Tabatha Moore who shut down BCBG at Lenox for an exclusive shopping extravaganza organized by premiere Stylist and BCBG Store manager, Frank Pompey. Pompey presented an intimate shopping and viewing experience of BCBG’s newest collection for the fashionista turned cosmetic guru and selected celebrity guests and socialites.
Dressed in a complementing burgundy T by Alexander Wang mid length skirt and matching light beige top with Yeezy season 2 boots famously rocked by Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, Ms. Moore is a cosmetic executive that everyone needs to know. She sipped on champagne as she carefully hand- selected looks from BCBG which included a straight off the runway burgundy Larina dress, a Cladina faux leather Peplum top and an ivory Runway Helina jacket among other looks.
The collection included Max Azria’s signature earthy hued Bohemian pieces as detailed by Vogue magazine. “A cozy-looking striped wool coat with fur lapels, a patchwork alpaca robe, and an Afghan cream number with shearling-covered shoulders” were just a few of the pieces Ms. Moore looked through, Accompanied by Atlanta’s premiere hair stylist, B’layl Ms. Moore’s fashion escapade opened our eyes to BCBG’s newest collection including the 2017 Max Azria Resort collection.
Ms. Moore also selected from the Fall BCBG collection which included a lot of exquisite long flowy dresses. While speaking with BCBG’s head designer, Lubov Azria, Vogue’s Liana Satenstein detailed the collection as a combination “of David Bowie, American Bandstand, and Flashdance. “It’s the idea of performance, as a dancer or a singer,” said Lubov Azria. “The performer was our muse, so there are bits of shine everywhere.” As Ms. Moore was shining in her designer selections she began to opened up to us.
A few champagne glasses later, she surprisingly revealed a bit more of her spunky personality and even invited us to dinner along with her stylist, Bilal and Mr. Pompey. We made a stop across the street to her striking Buckhead high rise loft with a magnificent view. The beautifully decorated modern loft serves as an additional living bungalow when she is away from her spacious and fabulous Raleigh home. We waited as B’layl switched up her Tabbycat Cosmetic lip color embrace to an evening shade and powdered Tabatha’s cheeks. By that time she told us we could call her Tabby and even let us rummage through the designer pieces she bought at BCBG.
Tabatha Moore found success as an entrepreneur. She separated herself in the beauty industry by creating a niche in cosmetics. Her high-end makeup company TabbyCat Cosmetics offers chic, quality products in a complete palette of rich colors for all women. Her line and her luxurious Raleigh based spa fills a void in beauty. Moore discovered the importance of catering to the assortment of beauty in every shade and providing an intimate shopping experience for customers. With the vast range of hues and shades that women possess It’s not always easy to color match foundation and powder. While the selection of various make up brands seems to be available by large quantities, the quality of make-up is not always at the highest standard which can complicate the health of our skin, compromising our clarity. Sure make-up is supposed to enhance and cover-up any imperfections but the use of it should not destroy our natural. Moore’s visionary and independent mind inspired her to create a spa that carried all of her products while allowing professionals to really become educated in their field.
“Who wants to scavenge hunt through the mall when they can luxuriate at a spa finding the products they need with a professional to assist them in their choices,” said Moore.
By offering consumers the opportunity to be consultants Moore’s elevated her brand to a higher level by equipping people an opportunity to also elevate their lifestyle.
“I wanted to combine the skill and talents of consultants, professional makeup artist and everyday people with a high-end, quality product that matched their beauty goals and artistry. I wanted to make it easy for everyone to truly shine in their field and artistry because She exclaimed. I wanted to put Beauty pros in a real-world environment. The goal is to create, challenge and motivate professionals with training in the latest techniques, trends and styles of hair, nails and esthetics.
“As an entrepreneur I know that creativity and passion are the keys to success. I tell everyone, never lose that! I’m motivated by passionate women and it’s important for me to not just offer them jobs but the education required for them to attain success.” In addition Moore helps women achieve their goals by making sure they have the look required to get a job.
Our company has partnered with an agency that gives clothes to women for job interviews and their first week of work. We join with them to assist with the full package. So the ladies are also able to come to Tabbycat Cosmetics to get their hair and makeup done. As an executive I know how important appearance is at a job interview. We just want to narrow the gaps and challenges that keep women from thinking they can be their best. Even though my brands focus is about the physical appearance, the internal and spiritual well- being of other women is important to me. I want to help women advance and have a little fun and excitement in the process!
