Today’s PYNK girl of the day post is dedicated to the humble and diligent Soraya Joseph. Whether she is behind or in front of the camera, Soraya always makes sure to leave a lasting impression.

Soraya came to New York with dreams of becoming a writer. A few years after her move and she has done so much more than basic journalism. With several respected accolades under her belt and the cosign from major industry maven’s including Necole Kane (Necole Bitchie), Charlamagne Tha God, and Mecca Moore, Soraya continues to grow as a media powerhouse as she expands her talents through a myriad of facets of the entertainment industry. While writing is her first love, Soraya also dabbles in production, radio hosting, and web content management.

Soraya is living proof that when you truly believe in yourself―anything is possible. She has literally started from the bottom and climbed her way to the top with heart and integrity, never bending her beliefs just to make a viral headline. Although the odds were against her, Soraya made sure that she turned every setback into a lesson learned―glorifying her mistakes as tools that only made her stronger.
