1. Rinse with water first before applying shampoo. When choosing shampoo, try to find one that is sulfate free. Also, pay attention to the ingredients and try to use a shampoo that doesn’t have alcohol as the first ingredient. Thoroughly wash the hair. Do not scratch the scalp too hard and rinse out shampoo with warm water. It’s important to wash out with warm water because hot water can damage the hair and cause it to break off. If you rinse with cold water, it can result in leaving some product residue behind, which will eventually lead to drying of the hair.
