Banana Republic continues to reinvent themselves, ever since they decided to hire Marissa Webb as creative director, last April, the mass retailer has been making bigger and better moves, get this #PynkGirls, they are even showing in fashion week this February for the first time ever. In an effort to keep up with the similar brands, Banana is adding a new collection to their well known-sophisticated strides, and this might be the cutest collection ever!
In a couple of weeks, the chain will release BR mini, yes you read correctly, Banana Republic Mini, a limited-edition baby collection, the collection will carry a price point of ($24-$198) for our little loves 0-12 months.
What sparked this collection: ” I began to notice that many of my friends are expecting, and I want to give them a very personal gift” says Webb, who actually personally designed the 13 piece cozy collection. The pieces are not just fashionable, but also comfortable enough for playtime, but cute enough to make the playground jealous.
The pieces are created with much thought, made with ultra-soft fabrics–cashmere, terry cloth and cotton threads, the color story is very much Banana Republic, chic gender-neutral hues of gray, creams, and blacks. This baby friendly collection is honestly not for the baby, as much as it is for the fashionable mommy.
Here’s a peek into the cashmere intarsia aviator hat, fisherman sweater and matching pants not to mention the various skull-decorated collection. We’re warning you this collection is baby making chic.
