Some people may say she’s weird, but Willow Smith has a style of her own when it comes to music and she’s not afraid to explore it. Right after her recent performance at the Broccoli Festival, the 14-year-old indie artist has dropped the visuals for her latest project “F Q-C #7.” It’s tough to find the right words to label Willow’s musical endeavors, so we’ll just call them interactive projects.
Wearing very colorful outfits in front of an over-exposed white wall, the youngest Smith plays with instruments and production equipment creating a band with herself as the only members. Tribal art is painted on her face as she travels through nature by herself. Although her music may be abstract, it’s certainly something different. It appears that the young Smith has found her niche. Watch the 2-minute visuals below.
The song has Afrocentric sound withe simple drums and guitar riffs. It’s cool yet very different from her usual subtle melody-tunes.
