#PYNKStreetStyle: Streetwear Review For ShopTheWriteFit Clothing

LOGO-1The Write Fit is more than just a clever play on words, it’s a social movement channeling the urban street wear culture and encouraging wearers to be individuals and find the right fit for themselves. Founded by Joshlyn Turner, the clothing line aims to inspire and represent urban communities in a positive light. Rather than just putting random words on a tee shirt, Joshlyn customizes her shirts to fit an array of personalities.

Inspired by the urban community where she was raised, Joshlyn continues to mentor and give back through her philanthropic work with inner-city teen juveniles and low-income families. The Write Fit’s goal is to abolish the negative stigma’s of the urban neighborhood and shed light on the more progressive notions within these communities and street culture.

The idea came in 2010 when Joshlyn took an interest in greeting cards. The initial plan was to combine creative expression with clothing. Launching in 2013, Joshlyn began creating categories that matched a particular lifestyle that customers would represent on a tee. Two years later, and she’s still in business creating new designs and even launching her children’s line. The Write Fit is currently on a journey to spread a message through fashion.

Her new summer line-which is in the works-will feature new designs created from scratch, even better quality cotton and a few surprises. Check out some of our #PYNKGirlApproved top picks and be sure to head to the ShopTheWriteFit website to see her complete line.
