The weekend starts now and it feels amazing knowing that this weekend’s weather is filled with clear skies and perfect 80 degree temperatures―a glorious type of day to wear the perfect layered up summer outfit. There are many discrepancies in regards to whether it’s okay to layer in the summer or not. Although the weather is particularly warm and layering may just be too much fabric to wear, it’s awesome and we love the idea of it, so why not give it a shot?
Option One: Always wear light fabrics in the summer to avoid being too hot. Cotton, silks, rayon…basically anything but polyester, wool and faux furs. It’s important that you get as much breeze through your clothing as possible.

Option Two: Wearing multiple shirts at one time. When you try this, you should probably wear two light weight blouses. Layering with multiple pieces is always fun and a guarantee fashion-forward look. Make sure to pair two shirts of the same kind together. For example, two draped shirts.

Option Three: A light weight jacket is always a great way to layer in the summer. Although short sleeved jackets sometimes get a little weird, there are some out there that are pretty cute.
