Happy Air Max Day!

If you haven’t had at least one pair of Air Maxes in your life, then you haven’t really been living in urban culture for the past 30 years. The original Air Max was designed in 1985 by developer Mark Parker. The concept was so revolutionary that the vision wasn’t able to come to life until two years later with the Air Max 1. Although the original design was held captive and recently released in honor of Air Max Day, the sneaker has been an influential accessory for almost three decades.

The production of this classic sneaker is still in progress and the designs are only getting better. 2014 definitely brought some heat with the Air Max color ways and we look forward to what 2015 has in store. Check out PYNK’s top 10 choices of the greatest and most influence Air Maxes of all time.
