Sure looking at the title of this post you’re wondering what in the world I am talking about. But for every struggling college student this post is for you. It’s those inner thoughts you get when your alarm goes off, when you’re up studying all night for exams, and when you’re trying to decide whether you should spend your last bit of money on books or groceries.
Every college student knows these struggles so well that they no longer become a sometimes struggle, they become a part of your everyday life. The struggle becomes so real you have no choice but to reevaluate your life and weigh your options of becoming a popping stripper or stick it out with this college struggle.
When deciding to attend a college or university no one ever tells you just how real the struggle can be. It takes real life hunger pains and failing a few exams for you to actually think about the “what ifs” in life. The biggest what if being, “What if I decide to become a stripper?” (Kidding)
When you think about it, strippers are one of the very few professionals who are always WINNING. They make bank in just a few hours, live a fancy lifestyle, hang with top celebs, and only have a few worries in the world such as keeping their figure right.
College is one of the most stressful times of anyones life and the stress of it all could really push a person to twerk a little something on the pole for a few dollars. I have seen quite a few of my fellow peers take some time off from the books and spend it making it clap at the local go go bars.
And don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with being a stripper, I am just nearly pointing out the fact that the life as a student, which is suppose to secure you a life as a business professional has the tendency to make you trade in your college attire of sweats and Uggs for a pair of high heels and a thong.
But even through all these wondering thoughts of dropping out and making fast cash, you should still keep on pushing and let the reward of those tireless nights and overdrawn bank fees be with you walking across that stage and getting your degree.
So for all my college students living that struggle life, #KeepPushing and remember this is nearly a small chapter in your book of life.
