When you’re a #PYNKGirl the expectation is that you have all your ducks in a row and have it made especially in the love department. But that’s not always the case, sometimes us #PYNKGirls become so wrapped up in life and our careers that dating gets bumped to the bottom of the “To Do” list. So when its that time to get back into the dating game it’s like we are fabulous fish out of the water. And since theres no step by step guide we decide to give you our top 5 rules when it comes to dating.
Rule 1:Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. We all have our checklist and criteria that every guy that we date must meet. But what if that checklist is what has hindered your love life from the beginning. Not saying you should just date whatever guy comes along but be open and don’t write off every guy who attempts to ask you out on a date because it takes courage to ask out a #PYNKGirl.
Rule 2: Put your best foot forward. Along with stepping out on faith give every date your all because you never want to just be going through the motions. And even if the guy is not your Mr.Right, the date could potentially teach you some things about yourself and what you want in a guy.
Rule 3: No one is completely themselves on the first date. Every first date is full of awkward moments and attempts at trying to impress the other, so never assume that the guy who has your heart throbbing on the first date is your future husband. Take the time to actually date and feel him out. Don’t start planning the wedding just yet.
Rule 4: Be free. Test the waters and don’t be scared to live this single life to the fullest. You’re not committed to anyone so enjoy the time you have to date more then one person at a time. Its all about making sure you can connect with someone and not putting all your eggs in one basket.
Rule 5: Mind, Body, and Spirit. When you’re stepping out and thinking about dating make sure you aren’t looking to find someone to complete you. You must be physically and spiritually complete before you invite someone else into your life. So simply stated be a #PYNKGirl.
