Vacation season isn’t over yet! If you are planning your next trip to a Spanish speaking country, then you might want to learn the basics of the language. Especially words like, “bathroom”, “how much?” and “help!” We’re kidding, but seriously.
We’ve recently shared with you a story about Nahla Bee and her God given talents. One of her many talents was minoring in Spanish while attending Temple University.
Nahla had the opportunity to travel to Peru and Costa Rica to study Spanish during her college career. “My love for this [Spanish] language and culture has grown,” she shares. “It is refreshing to be able to communicate with other people in multiple languages.”
She recently shared a few of her language tips to help you learn a little Spanish.
LISTEN TO OTHERS
Hear for yourself how the language is spoken. Understand how the words are used and submerge yourself in the language.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
Understanding the basics first is important. The true key to learning Spanish is speaking it with others.
SPEAK IT IN THE REAL WORLD
After getting the basic foundation of the Spanish language from the classroom or an app, speaking in the real world allows you to learn from your grammatical errors. Soon it feels like second nature.
