We see very few music tours that highlight independent and unsigned artist due to this idea that real music is dead and there’s no audience for this type of live music. But, thanks to 3 Kean University graduates, the surge of real music is making its way back into rotation and making its way through New Jersey.
Founded in 2011 by Dezz Wilder, Jesse Collins, and Shane Okorodudu, these men made it their mission to showcase real talent on a platform that was on the pulse of everything artistically. And what better way to show off great talent than at Jerseys top colleges and universities.
Seen as one of the very few platforms in New Jersey to highlight talent, Music Cafe has gained its ultimate popularity through word of mouth and social media.
This tour has proven to stay true to its original mission of real talent and live music and each year has progressed and caught the attention of bigger and better independent artist to join.
And to kick off their 3rd annual tour, Music Cafe will be making stops at some of Jerseys livest colleges such as Seton Hall, William Paterson, and Kean University where they plan to host their biggest show yet at Wilkins Theater.
And if that wasn’t enough our very own #PYNKGirlApproved artist to watch @sade_EMONI is also featured on this tour.
So if you #PYNKGirls are ever in Jersey and in need of that feel good real music, be sure to check out Music Cafe.
