This morning, singer and bad-ass bombshell Rihanna released her first collaboration with legendary shoe designer Manolo Blahnik. Throughout this past week, Riri has been sharing some behind-the-scenes clips of her plans with the shoe guru. Today marks the day that these magical shoes are made available to the general public. Considering her reputation for selling out in stores and online, you might want to hop on this history-in-the-making release ASAP!
Rihanna has been on an upward spiral of blessing all this year and last year. With the successful launch of her PUMA campaign, there is no denying that the bad gal is one of the most influential musicians of our time. After releasing the first collection of her PUMA ‘CREEPERS,’ they sold out online within minutes of their launch. Due to the access purchases, she had no choice but to launch a men’s collection and an even larger women’s collection with more variety of colors. Prior to her PUMA collab, Rih released a collection of provocative socks with Stance that were surely at the top of the stocking stuffer must-haves.
After a successfully couple of months later, Rihanna recently released her second shoe with PUMA, the Fenty Trainers. Leading to her most recent success of her PUMA x Fenty fuzzy slip-ons that sold out online last week in just 30-minutes. And if you aren’t lucky enough to find them in select PUMA stores, they’re being auctioned off on Ebay for $200 and up.
We are certainly impressed with Rihanna’s fashion gains and her effortless sense of relevant design. Make sure you check out her Manolo collection before it’s too late―and it will be too late.
