Olivia Pope, Scandal
The word “bossy” seems to have a negative connotation when referring to a woman in charge; however, PYNK girls want to take this word out of its negative image and apply it to something PRETTY, POWERFUL and PROVOCATIVE.
Being a boss in the PYNK world is having an aura that demands respect in any situation whether it is in a business meeting or in a relationship. The “bossy” female is someone who is intellectual and business-minded, smart sexy, sassy, charismatic—the list goes on. She is a valuable force in any position and is proud to never back down.
Although there is still a stigma of this helpless and dainty woman that pervades television networks and the Internet, lately we have been vicariously living through the lives of some strong fictional characters in entertainment. The Olivia Pope’s and Cookie Lyon’s are reigning in 2015 and because the buzz from these characters is constantly increasing, it only means that there are more diva’s to come. Here are PYNK’s favorite fictional diva’s that have graced television.
