We all have been in a crunch for time and instead of running to the nearest fast food restaurant, you want to make a meal that is a little more personal that shows off some of your culinary skills. You either fake it ’til you make or put your Food Network skills to the test. We are here to give you those last-minute meals you can prepare in less than an hour.

Everyone loves a quick and easy meal that takes little to no effort that will leave your guests wanting more. And what better way to get those results than with breakfast? Breakfast is no longer for morning hours, it has become one of the biggest trends to host parties with a mid night breakfast theme. So when in a rush try this easy waffle/pancake recipe and pair it with an omelet, fresh fruit or bacon.

1 cup all-purpose flour, (spooned and leveled)
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, or vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 tablespoon vegetable oil


Combine all dry ingredients and mix together

Add milk slowly into dry mix

Crack eggs and combine with mix

Add melted butter into mix

Heat Skillet and pour small amour or vegetable oil

Once skillet is heated pour in batter until pancake is desired size


If you are in a rush but have a little more time on your hands to prepare a full entree, try this easy 45 minute recipe that includes just 2 essential items you are sure to have handy in your kitchen already, chicken and red potatoes. Pair this dish with string beans or broccoli.

4 bone-in chicken breast halves, skin removed
4 medium russet or Idaho baking potatoes, unpeeled, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 medium red or green bell pepper, cut into 1×1/2-inch pieces
1 medium onion, cut into 8 wedges
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted


Heat oven to 400 degrees

Spray pan with non stick cooking spray

Place chicken breast, cut bell peppers, onions and potatoes into pan

Pour melted butter onto contents in pan

Place into oven


Everyone has a soft spot and weakness when it comes to carbs and the most popular guilty pleasure is pasta. But the great thing about pasta is that its one of those dishes that once you get everything started it comes together on its own.




1 Bag of shrimp

2 Jars of Classico (Four Cheese) Alfredo sauce

1 tablespoon of minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano

1 lb of spaghetti boiled and drained

1 cup of mozzarella and parmesan cheese blend



Add uncooked spaghetti to boiling pot with a pinch of salt

Peel and devein shrimp

Melt butter in pan, once heated add minced garlic

Place shrimp in heated pan to cook

Add Alfredo sauce to pan with oregano ( let sit until sauce comes to a boil)

Add Spaghetti to sauce and shrimp then serve
