#ThinkPYNK: Best Dressed At The 2015 Emmy’s

67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Press Room

History was made last night when the 2015 Emmy Awards was filled with black girl magic and feminine power. With winners like Uzo Aduba for outstanding supporting actress, Viola Davis for outstanding leading actress, and Regina King for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series, the world watched black girls rock once again this year.

Viola Davis brought many of her fellow colleagues to tears with her emotion-jerking speech about being a black and brown girl in the entertainment industry, “the only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity,” a very daring, but true statement that is not meant to patronize the industry, but to shed light on the strides that black women have made in media. In addition to inspiring and giving young aspiring women faith in their dreams, the women of the night also looked gorgeous in their custom gowns as they strutted on the red carpet. Check out our favorite looks from the evening below.
