It’s still Women’s History Month and we are continuing to celebrate women from many different professions and backgrounds. This week our special guest editor will be Tiff The Stylist, a celebrity wardrobe stylist and creative director who has made her passion her paycheck.
The Queens, New York native’s sense of fashion was strongly influenced by her mothers’ fearless and unique style. Born Tiffany Hasbourne, she branded herself as “Tiff The Stylist,” when she took her creative talents to Atlanta Georgia’s Art Institute to pursue her dreams. Working towards a degree led to an opportunity to assist fashion industry vets, Harriette Cole, and her mentor, Susan Moses.
After moving back to New York City, Tiff got her start working with, now 105.1 radio personality Angie Martinez. Her buzz as a stylist led her to work with renown professionals and hip hop artists including: Idris Elba, Missy Elliott, 50 cent, Nas, Meagan Good, Busta Rhymes and more.
Amongst her many successes, the certified PYNK girl earned the opportunity to style on the Disney Channel for Cheetah Girls, Hannah Montana etc. and executive Producer Stephen Levinson hired Tiffany to bring a specific element to the new HBO show Ballers. As her client-list continues to build, so does her brand and her legacy. Stay tuned to learn about Tiff’s #PYNKGirlApproved Women’s History Month picks for this week.
