Wal-Mart is under fire today because of their 3rd party vendor, Pixnor. If you haven’t seen it already on Instagram or Twitter, we’re here to catch you up.
Pixnor had a wig cap on the Wal-Mart website in which they described the brown color of the wig cap as “n*gger brown.”
The shopping mecca, Wal-Mart tried to cover the situation up by removing the hurtful description from the page but forgot to remove it from the URL link. Which only caused more turmoil. The page later was made unavailable.
Many people were appalled that Wal-Mart allowed this to go up on the site.

Wal-Mart reached out to BET to offer a statement of apology.
“We are very sorry and appalled that this third party seller listed their item with this description on our online marketplace. It is a clear violation of our policy, and has been removed, and we are investigating the seller to determine how this could have happened.”
What do you think of the situation? Will you continue to shop at Wal-Mart?
