Tinashe talks her ethnic background, past experience in the entertainment industry and her debut album. The 21-year-old’s album Aquarius drops today and she’s already been getting positive feedback from her work. One review called her single “2 On” the defining r&b song of the summer and proceeded to calling her album “unexpectedly one of the most idiosyncratic major label female r&b albums in years full of slow and heavy breathing.”
Tinashe says that she is flattered especially since she put her heart and soul into the album. The album has been an ongoing project for two years and has finally officially developed into a masterpiece.
